With local presence in Novi, Mich. and headquarters in Germany and Sunnyvale, Calif., OSRAM Opto Semiconductors is a leading innovator in every segment of the LED lighting technology industry.  When OSRAM Opto Semiconductors began the process of bringing the online presence of its LED business to the forefront of the industry, the company knew it would need a new website to serve as the central destination for resources, content and information pertaining to the LED lighting industry.     

 

 

Solution

 

OSRAM Opto Semiconductors selected Ingenex to build the LED light microsite and deliver digital marketing strategy to support the site’s launch.  Ingenex designed and launched a comprehensive microsite dedicated to OSRAM Opto Semiconductors’ global LED light business.  Ingenex also created a social media marketing strategy to help connect with customers and deliver continuous content for the site via OSRAM Opto Semiconductors’ newsletter engine, Facebook fan page and YouTube video channel.  

 

 

Results

 

The OSRAM Opto Semiconductors LED Light Site, which launched in February 2010, is the leading online resource to educate and empower customers with information for all things LED.  Here, customers can find news, technical information, sales support and technical tools related to LED lighting in the fields of architecture, retail, indoor and outdoor lighting.  Ingenex works closely with OSRAM Opto Semiconductors to continuously deliver fresh web content on a well-planned schedule that meets all corporate standards.  OSRAM Opto Semiconductors’ new presence on Facebook is also helping to drive brand awareness and revenues for the LED Light Site with a new audience and an expanded customer base.
